Thinning of tree crowns – the treatment consists in removing smaller parts of branch inside a crown, in case of excessive condensation of the crown (often performed for trees with dense crown, such as:lime, maples, hornbeams, beeches.
The procedure has 3 degrees of intensity: 10%- subtle thinning (after a year, a crown comes back to the initial state); 20%-moderate thinning and 30%- intense thinning. The latter one is performed in cases when, in a limited space, such as small garden, trees and plants are unable to grow due to insufficient sunlight.
